XTRACTOR is one of our longest serving and most successful rod ranges ever and for a good reason. The previous range set new standards in terms of performance, quality, reliability and value for money, demonstrating perfectly our carbon engineering prowess. So, it is with great pleasure that we introduce the new XTRACTOR+ range.

What’s changed? Well, quite a lot! We’ve now been able to incorporate high modulus C6 carbon into all the XTRACTOR+ blanks, making them even lighter and more responsive. 

The new RAW carbon finish is super tough and gives a glimpse into the internal construction of the blank. Built using super-light M Series DL black guides, a deluxe matt black DPS reel seat and a slim Japanese shrink rubber handle with a subtle flared grip. 

The range covers compact rod lengths extending to 6ft, 9ft and 10ft, a 9ft and 10ft dedicated spod rods, plus the addition of an 8ft Xtractor+ Recon. Test curves covered are from 2.75lb through to 3.5lb, depending on length of rod. All models in the range carry a 40mm butt ring and anti-frap tip guide. Xtractor+ once again sets a new standard in compact carp rods!

Sonik Xtractor+ FS 5000 Free Spool Reel

To complement our existing range of compact Xtractor+ reels, we now have a new model featuring a free spool mode. This is an extremely robust reel designed to pair with the Xtractor+ carp rod range.

Suitable for all types of carp fishing, the Xtractor+ 5000 and 6000FS reels feature a lightweight, high-strength graphite body/rotor, a front micro-adjust drag, and an independent rear free spool drag for precise adjustments.

Each model is supplied with two spools equipped with line-friendly clips. The 3+1 ball bearings and 5.1:1 gear ratio make these reels fast and responsive when landing specimen fish. The sleek matte black finish is consistent across the body, and the soft-touch rubber handle ensures smooth operation during the fight.
