The Turbospod Carbon 14000 is a high-performance spod reel engineered to be as lightweight as possible without compromising strength or speed. Its carbon body and rotor, heavily machined spool, and hard anodised aluminium main shaft and wormdrive gear deliver exceptional weight reduction for effortless spodding.
Designed for maximum efficiency, it features an ultra-fast 5.7:1 gear ratio, retrieving a massive 1.45m of line per handle turn—ideal for rapid baiting at range. The shallow-cast spool suits all popular spodding braids, while super-slow oscillation ensures flawless line lay.
The reel includes a Quick-Torque drag system, and a conversion kit is supplied, allowing anglers to remove the drag system to reduce weight even further. Other key features include a floating rotor line guard, oversized twist-free line roller, open bail rotor lock, and triple captive line clips with an EZ line entry system.
Finished in silk black with gloss detailing, the reel also features a CNC aluminium handle with stealth wood grip and comes complete with a protective finger stall. Weighing just 499–529g depending on configuration, and with 8+1 shielded stainless steel bearings and 18kg of drag power, the Turbospod Carbon 14000 is built for fast, lightweight performance at the highest level."
