Side Imaging: It's all in the details. Gain a 180 degrees side-to-side perspective on the world below the surface with remarkable Humminbird® Side Imaging®. In an instant, the ultra-thin beam scans the area up to 400 feet to the left and right of your boat location - for total coverage of up to 800 feet. The return image for each slice is then added to the images taken immediately before and after to build an incredible view of the lake bottom. You can then magnify the detail of the image with the zoom feature or mark the GPS location of promising cover or structure directly on the screen.

Down Imaging: Like Side Imaging, Humminbird Down Imaging uses a razor thin, high-frequency beam to create picture-like images of structure, vegetation and fish. But unlike Side Imaging, Down Imaging returns are oriented identically to traditional, down-looking sonar returns - with the most-recent information appearing on the right side of the screen.

Dual Spectrum CHIRP Sonar: CHIRP stands for “Compressed High Intensity Radar Pulse.” That’s a fancy way of saying it can show you fish that other forms of 2D sonar can’t. How’s that? CHIRP scans the water for fish similar to the way the seek function on your truck’s radio scans the airwaves for FM stations. By covering a wide range of frequencies, CHIRP produces more accurate, more detailed returns of fish, structure and the bottom.
