The Emblem Carp SCW inherits the solidity and longevity expected from an Emblem. The size 35 SCW has an original format from Daiwa, meaning that its oscillation height is 35 mm. It is thus a hybrid between the legendary Emblem X and the small reels in size 25. 

This reel has managed to combine slow oscillation and rapid recovery: it takes 1.24 m of line at each turn of the crank !

The QD brake allows, in a half-turn of the brake button, to go from a "declutching" mode (free brake) to a "combat" mode (brake applied). The HIP round wire clip mounted on a high quality spring allows marking its casting distance to reposition the assembly in the same place for the next casting. The icing on the cake, it comes with two coils of different and complementary capacities.

The perfect tuning of the contact points between helicoid and straight teeth create an energy yield close to 99% and silent rotation. Daiwa gear trains offer superior winding smoothness.

The hollow Touch Air Bail is made from SUS303 steel and is 20% tougher than a solid titanium bail of the same weight, and with a lifespan 13 x longer.

The TB2 pickup roller has been developed by Daiwa and precision tooled to guarantee optimal line lay.

The system reduces the risks of linespin on the retrieve by 90%.

In contrast to classic cylindrical spool designs, ABS spools are tapered to limit the risks of tangling on the cast. What’s more, the lip reduces friction to boost casting distance.

The new ABSII design has been optimised to let you reach record distances on the cast.
