The rod has 6 rings made of Sic (silicon carbide), a material known for its resistance to wear and its ability to reduce friction. This allows for smooth use with braided lines or premium nylons, while minimizing the risk of abrasion.

The starting rings are specially sized to maximize performance:

50 mm on 12 and 13 foot models, ideal for long, smooth casts.

40 mm on the 10 foot model, promoting increased maneuverability, perfect for situations requiring more precision.

The Prowess Scorpium X reel is a reel made from a carbon composite body and rotor ensuring great strength and rigidity. It is a long cast reel that is perfectly suited to strong or long distance fishing without effort.

Its 4 ball bearings provide great smoothness and fluidity during use. The double oscillation will ensure an optimal storage of your line along the spool. Thanks to its metal spool, you can use braid as well as nylon in the line body during your sessions. This reel is available in size 7000 for rods up to 10' and in size 8000 for 12' and 13'.
