Edges Heavy Duty Ring O rings have been designed to allow you to create chod/helicopter lead release systems, like the Helicopter Drop Off rig.

The perfect O ring to create chod/ helicopter lead release systems. Finished in a non reflective matt black coating. 

As illustrated below, it will allow you to connect your mono, fluoro or leadcore as if you connect it to your normal lead.

The illustration below will also help you better understand how to make a Drop Off helicopter rig.

How to eject lead using an Edges Chod / Heli Buffer Sleeve

Put on your line your bead stopper, your leader and your Edges Chod / Heli Buffer Sleeves

Connect the Heavy Duty O Ring to your line using the Palomar Knot

Make a loop of 3cm in braid Fox Armadillo taking care to pass it in the ring.

Pass the loop inside the lead swivel.

Using a boilie needle, retrieve the end of the loop through the hole in the sleeve.

Bring out the loop from the hole in the sleeve.

Cut a small piece of soluble flake Risers Foam.

Insert the piece of soluble flake in the loop and pull on the lead to put it in place... the rig is ready!

Once at the bottom of the water, the soluble flake will melt and release your lead.
